Morris twins investigated for possible assault
The Morris twins are being investigated as potential suspects in an alleged assault that took place Saturday, CBS 5 in Phoenix reports.
According to CBS 5, Phoenix police are investigating an alleged assault that took place outside a gym on Saturday night around 7:30 p.m. The report says Marcus and twin brother Markieff, who both play for the Suns, are being looked at as suspects in the case.
The Suns are in the middle of a lengthy home stretch and hosted games on Friday and Sunday. The team did not have a game Saturday.
The brothers, who signed four-year contracts worth a combined $52 million, both participated in the team’s shoot-around Wednesday and played in the team’s win over the Wizards later that night.
The Morris twins have struggled with technical fouls this season and we even recently saw Marcus blow his top and go off on his head coach earlier this month.
