Caitlin Clark turned heads not just of fans but also of players when she showed up at an NBA Summer League on Friday.
Showing support for the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever superstar point guard Caitlin Clark, along with teammates Aliyah Boston and Bree Hall, cheered on the NBA team during its game against the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nev.
Pacers guard Yuki Kawamura was later asked for his thoughts on Clark’s presence, and responded with huge praise.
“She’s the best player in the world right now,” Kawamura said via video shared by Tony East of Forbes Sports. “So it means everything.”

It seems clear that Yuki Kawamura is also on the Caitlin Clark bandwagon. Giving Clark her flowers is also one way to endear oneself to Indiana basketball fans, so it was simply just the right thing to say for Kawamura, who is looking to secure a new contract after he declined to tender a qualifying offer from the Chicago Bulls in the offseason.
Against the Cavaliers, Kawamura provided the Pacers with some spark off the bench, scoring 8 points on 3/5 shooting and dishing out 4 assists in just 17 minutes to help Indiana in a 99-93 win.
Clark and the Fever can’t attend all of the Pacers’ Summer League games due to the ongoing 2026 WNBA season, but they were able to take in one, as they are in town to face the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
