Nene was averaging 10.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game during the postseason. The Rockets will miss the 6-foot-11 Brazilian’s presence in the low post. Houston’s series with San Antonio is currently tied at 2-2.
Nene was ejected from Game 1 of the series after he put his hand on a Spurs player’s throat during a scuffle. He avoided a suspension and was fined $15,000.
