Nerlens Noel was taken off the court during Tuesday night’s game in a stretcher after taking an ugly fall and hitting his head on the floor, and it sounds like the consequences could have been a lot worse for the Oklahoma City Thunder big man.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Noel has been diagnosed with a concussion. There were initially fears that he may have suffered some sort of fracture, but that was not the case.

Noel went up to block a dunk attempt from Minnesota Timberwolves guard Andrew Wiggins when he came down hard and hit his head off the floor.

There was some question about how Timberwolves players reacted following the injury, and that led to a shouting match with Thunder guard Dennis Schroder that became a big topic of conversation after the game. The important thing is Noel sounds like he is going to make a full recovery.
