Pacers GM Chad Buchanan turns down Bulls
The Chicago Bulls are searching for a new executive to lead their franchise, and their search will have to extend beyond Chad Buchanan.
Buchanan, who has been the Indiana Pacers’ general manager since 2017, declined to interview with the Bulls for their new front office position, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports.

Buchanan was with Portland for 10 years prior to joining Indiana.
According to Charania, the Bulls will look to other candidates around the league, including Toronto’s Bobby Webster, Miami’s Adam Simon, and Denver’s Arturas Karnisovas.

The Bulls have been considering shaking up their front office, which has been led by the Gar Forman/John Paxson tandem the last several years. Forman has been their GM since 2009. But the Bulls are looking for someone new to put in place at the top of their basketball operations.
