Report: Patrick McCaw regained feeling in leg, X-ray and CT scan came back clear
Patrick McCaw was stretchered off the court following a horrifying fall in the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, but there were some encouraging updates about his health overnight.
According to ESPN’s Chris Haynes, McCaw experienced numbness in his lower body immediately after the fall but later regained feeling in his leg. He also underwent an X-ray and CT scan, which both came back clear.
The play occurred late in the third quarter when McCaw was undercut by Vince Carter while finishing a layup. Steve Kerr was angry with Carter at first, but both the Warriors coach and several Golden State players said after the game that they were confident Carter had no ill intent.

Warriors and Kings players were seen praying together as McCaw was taken off the court, and it’s clear there is no lingering hostility toward Carter. Hopefully McCaw is able to make a full recovery.
