Rams star offers his help to struggling Lakers
One Los Angeles Rams star can feel the cosmic connection between his team and the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers pulled out a much-needed win over the Golden State Warriors at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was sitting courtside for the game. Lakers star LeBron James, who dropped 56 points in the victory, was overheard telling Stafford during a timeout, “I can’t have you in the building and not put on a show.”

Stafford’s touchdown partner, Rams Super Bowl MVP wide receiver Cooper Kupp, decided to get in on the fun as well, jokingly tweeting that he was ready to help the Lakers by sitting courtside himself.
“Rams sitting courtside for the Lakeshow seems to be working,” wrote Kupp. “I’m ready, if needed, to take one for the team too.”

The reeling Lakers had lost four games in a row before Saturday. But it turns out that all they needed to get back in the victory column was to have Matt Money in the stands. The Lakers also got a big win over the Utah Jazz on Feb. 16 when Rams defensive star Aaron Donald was sitting courtside.

Kupp can definitely sense a pattern here. He is a big Lakers fan himself too, proving as much during the Rams’ championship parade.
