Jimmy Butler was forced to leave the Philadelphia 76ers’ win over the Detroit Pistons on Monday night after injuring his groin, but it does not sound like he will miss much time.
While Butler is listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, ESPN’s Zach Lowe reports that an MRI on his injured groin showed no structural damage. He is considered day-to-day.
Jimmy Butler's MRI today after leaving last night's game with a groin strain turned up no structural damage, league sources say. He is currently listed as doubtful for the Sixers game tomorrow against Brooklyn.

Butler is averaging 19.8 points per game since being traded to the Sixers, and he appears to have already established a bond with his new teammates. He’s a big reason why Philly has won six of its last seven games and is playing some of its best basketball of the season, so the team is hoping he is able to heal quickly.
