Rob Gronkowski challenges Shaq to three-point contest
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is always one for fun. And he’s not about to let those darn TNT guys have all of it.
In the aftermath of “Elevator” Ernie Johnson’s upset victory over Charles Barkley in an impromptu three-point contest on Tuesday, the four-time Pro Bowler decided that he wanted in on the festivities. Gronk took to Twitter to call next, challenging another member of the TNT crew, none other than the legendary Shaquille O’Neal, to be his opponent.
@NBAonTNT Love playing the three point contest. Let me get next vs Shaq lol ?

On paper, you’d probably have to give the advantage to Gronk considering his advantage in age (27 to Shaq’s 44) and the fact that Shaq only hit one three-pointer in 22 attempts over the course of his 19-year NBA career.
Either way, for Gronk to join the ranks of Shaq’s post-retirement rivals along with Scottie Pippen, Big Show, and gravity would be nothing short of magical.
