Carroll openly admitted he did not fit in San Antonio, but he could be a quality depth piece for Houston. It was only two seasons ago that he was a full-time starter in Brooklyn, and before that in Toronto. A consummate three-and-D wing player, he’s a 35.9 percent career three-point shooter who can also defend the perimeter. That’s exactly what the Rockets have been looking for, and it could be a nice, low-risk addition for the playoffs.
