Project B bills itself as a basketball league with international appeal that plans to stage games in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Candace Parker, Novak Djokovic, and Steve Young are among its investors, though it has yet to announce which men will take part in the league.
Westbrook is fresh off his retirement from the NBA, though he is still just 37 and could plausibly still play. This will launch speculation that he might take part as a player, though there is no reason to believe that will be the case just yet.
