Russell Westbrook dared heckler to confront him on the court
Los Angeles Clippers guard Russell Westbrook is no stranger to testy confrontations with unruly fans. On Sunday, the All-Star added another encounter to his growing list.
The Clippers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-105 at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn.
Despite the cold atmosphere, Westbrook was quite heated before the game even began. The former MVP called out a fan heckling him during warmups. Westbrook even told the fan to come closer along the baseline. The fan obliged.
“What you say? I can’t hear you. I said come here,” Westbrook said while beckoning the fan to approach him. “Better sit your a– down. I ain’t the one. I’m not the one.” (profanity edited by LBS)

Westbrook’s encounter with the fan in the Karl-Anthony Towns jersey at least appeared more tame than the fiery fan exchange Russ had at a home game earlier this season.
Westbrook’s fan encounters in Minnesota weren’t all bad though. The Clippers star had a wholesome moment with a couple of fans sitting next to his team’s bench. The Brodie had fun with the fans at Rudy Gobert’s expense.

The Clippers trimmed a 17-point Timberwolves lead down to 3 late in the fourth quarter. But LAC’s comeback fell just short in the final minute of the contest.
Westbrook finished the game with a near-triple-double: 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 13 assists in 29 minutes off the Clippers’ bench.
