Russell Westbrook dismisses Steph Curry’s MVP pick

This year’s MVP race is seen by most as a two-person battle. After the reigning two-time MVP weighed in with his choice, one of this season’s favorites was quick to dismiss it.

Russell Westbrook and James Harden are each having fantastic seasons and both are certainly worthy of being in the discussion for league MVP. However, only one can take home the award. Stephen Curry was recently asked who would be his pick and he went with Harden.

On Thursday, Westbrook was made aware of Curry’s comments and his response was about what you would expect. Take a listen below.

Earlier this week Steph Curry said James Harden should win the MVP over Russell Westbrook. Today RW responds: "who's he?" pic.twitter.com/kqeiWJiMrC

Yep, he dropped a “Who’s he?” And, then there’s the look afterward. It’s so perfect. It’s so Russell Westbrook.

In addition to Westbrook and Harden, you could also build cases for Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James (as always) for regular season MVP. We have a little time until winner is announced. One thing we know now is, Westbrook isn’t here for individual honors. He’s about winning championships.
