Seth Curry agrees to deal with Kings
Seth Curry is reaping the rewards from his strong performance in the NBA Summer League.
The 24-year-old guard who is the brother of league MVP Steph Curry has agreed to a two-year guaranteed deal for $2 million with the Sacramento Kings. The contract includes a player option for a third year.
Curry led the summer league with 25 points per game and attracted interest from NBA teams who felt he would be an asset as a shooting specialist off the bench.
Curry has played 21 minutes in the NBA the past two seasons spread over stints with three different teams. This should be the former Duke/Liberty star’s best chance at seeing consistent minutes in the league.
He received some nice words from his brother:
Let’s goooooo! He’s been patient and worked so hard to get here. @sdotcurry got his Foot in the door now it’s time to go! Love you bro!
