The TNT commercial break could not come fast enough for Shaquille O’Neal following Monday’s slate of NBA playoff games.
Shaq and the rest of the “Inside the NBA” crew were in the middle of breaking down a thrilling Game 2 first-round matchup between the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets. While Kenny Smith waxed poetic about Clippers star Kawhi Leonard, Shaq sheepishly stood up from his seat without any explanation.
As Shaq made a beeline for the exit door, Kenny, Ernie Johnson, and Charles Barkley put the pieces together: the man needed to go to the bathroom.

Everyone has had those moments when the tummy troubles hit you right before a big presentation or in the middle of an algebra exam. Unfortunately for Shaq, he had to have his moment happen on national television with fans still buzzing about the electric Clippers-Nuggets contest that just went down.
Smith revealed that Shaq had been touting a cleanse he’s been on in order to “clean his gut.” The cleanse was said to involve taking shots of olive oil. Perhaps he shouldn’t be experimenting with shots of olive oil right before a TNT broadcast. But his co-hosts were not buying it for a second.
