San Antonio Spurs play-by-play man Jacob Tobey may be in some hot water over alleged infidelity.
A story posted on Tobey’s Instagram account earlier this week made headlines for seemingly serving as a confession that he was cheating on his longtime girlfriend with Loren Waters, the sister of Spurs shooting guard Lindy Waters III.
“This is my girlfriend of six years,” the post read, along with a photo of Tobey with his girlfriend. “But I cheated on her with Loren Waters. So feel free to continue following me if you really think I’m a good guy because I’m not. :)”

Fans seem to believe the post was uploaded by Tobey’s girlfriend, who may have gotten access to his Instagram account to expose the 29-year-old broadcaster. The account posted a follow-up story of what appeared to be photo booth print-outs of Tobey and Loren Waters kissing, captioned, “Me and the new girl.”

The supposed hacker also inserted a caption that read “#cheater” on a recent post of Tobey signing the national anthem during a Spurs game. All the posts and captions were eventually taken down.

Last month, Tobey announced that he had signed a multi-year extension to remain the Spurs’ play-by-play man for the foreseeable future. While the posts remain mere speculation, questions could be raised about Tobey’s future with the team.
