Spurs reportedly trying to trade Boris Diaw
San Antonio’s frontcourt is being shaken up, and one of the unfortunate casualties may be His Majesty Prince Bobo.
According to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical on Monday, the Spurs are working on trading Boris Diaw to create space to sign Pau Gasol, who agreed to sign a two-year, $30 million deal with the team.
For the Spurs to complete the Gasol signing, they're working on a trade to move Boris Diaw, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Diaw, 34, averaged 6.4 points per game, 3.1 rebounds per game, and 2.3 assists per game for the Spurs in 2015-16. But his contributions to the team over his four seasons in San Antonio have gone far beyond his counting stats as his unselfishness, post-up play, and positional ambidexterity have fit like a glove into the Spurs’ culture.
With Tim Duncan also said to be leaning towards retirement, we may be getting a very different (though still contention-worthy) incarnation of the Spurs come next season. Those marvelous espressos will certainly be missed.
