Steph Curry continues to rehab from his MCL injury and is questionable for Game 1 of the Golden State Warriors’ playoff series against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Curry played in a 5-on-5 situation on Friday, and Warriors coach Steve Kerr said that Curry’s status will depend on how he responds to that.
The two-time MVP spoke with the media on Friday and acknowledged a minutes restriction or even coming off the bench could be possible when he returns.
Sounds like a minutes restriction and possibly even a return game off the bench in Steph Curry's first game back: "It's part of the conversation" pic.twitter.com/tsJ2TjHzJO

Curry has not played in over a month. His Warriors were able to take care of the Spurs in five games in the first round, but the Pelicans, who are coming off a sweep of Portland, are a different story. Though Curry said his return will not be dictated by how that series goes, at this stage in the postseason, there is more urgency for a return.
