Steph Curry had awesome interaction with 10-year-old fan PJ before game
Steph Curry broke a fan’s heart on Monday, but he sure made up for it on Thursday.
A 10-year-old girl named PJ is a big Curry fan. Her parents asked her what she wanted for her birthday last year and she told them Warriors tickets. So they got tickets for a late December game between the Nuggets and Warriors. That game was postponed due to COVID, so the family was set to attend Monday’s makeup game in Denver instead.
PJ came prepared and had a sign for him and everything. But she began to cry when she learned he wouldn’t be playing in that night’s game.
The video clip of PJ crying went viral and was seen by Curry.
The Warriors reached out to PJ and got her and her family tickets for Thursday’s game, also in Denver. This time, Curry played, and he took time to meet with PJ before the game.

What was once a sad story turned into a happy one. And Curry said all the right things afterwards, talking about how fans are the heart of the game, and how pleased he was to make it up to her.
