The Golden State Warriors may be slightly shorthanded for the start of the NBA playoffs.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said on Wednesday ahead of the Warriors’ regular season finale against the Lakers that he doubts Matt Barnes will be ready for Game 1 of the playoffs, which will be this weekend.

Barnes has been out since leaving the Warriors’ game on Saturday with a sprained ankle.
Barnes has been with the Warriors since March. Acquired after Kevin Durant went down with a knee injury, the forward has averaged 5.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in 20 games for Golden State this season. The Warriors will have the top seed and homecourt advantage throughout the entire postseason.
