Steve Kerr explains issue with Jordan Bell that led to heated exchange
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr got into a heated exchange with Jordan Bell on Monday night that was quite surprising given the score of the game, but the coach insists it was nothing serious.
With the Warriors leading 117-98 and looking to burn out the final minutes of garbage time, Kerr and Bell were seen getting heated with one another during a timeout.

Kerr was asked about the incident after the game, and he told reporters it was a “total misinterpretation” that had already been cleared up.

Bell had missed a shot and had a shot blocked prior to the timeout, so Kerr was probably just trying to get the most out of a bench player who has only been averaging 11 minutes per game. He’s never hesitated to call his team out in the past when he thinks they’re not playing up to their championship standards, so this was probably another example of that.
