Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Erik Reynolds II committed quite a blunder during his Summer League debut on Thursday.
The Thunder beat the Brooklyn Nets 90-81 in their Summer League game Thursday at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Reynolds went 1/3 shooting for two points in 12 minutes, but those stats don’t count one other basket he made.
Late in the third quarter, Reynolds recovered a jump ball and then shot the ball into the basket. Unfortunately, he had shot into the wrong basket, which gave the Nets two points.

Reynolds realized his mistake immediately and put his hands to his head as if to say “what have I done?” Fortunately for him, the mistake didn’t have too high of stakes or consequences. OKC won the game and is 1-0.
Reynolds signed with the Thunder to play on their Summer League team. He played college ball at Saint Joseph’s and is the school’s all-time leader in points (2,175), three-pointers made (350) and free throw percentage (86.8). He is already adding to his impressive legacy.
