The Cavaliers will face the Timberwolves on Saturday in what will be the first game for Kevin Love in his old stomping ground since being traded last summer. However, the Timberwolves chose not to focus on Love leading up to the game.
In the above hype video to build anticipation for the game, the Timberwolves showed love to veteran Mike Miller. Miller spent the 2008-2009 season in Minnesota, playing in 73 games and averaging 9.9 points and 6.6 rebounds. Those, of course, are nowhere near the 26.1 points and 12.5 points Kevin Love posted as a member of the Timberwolves last season, but if the team wants to promote the return of Mike Miller and Kevin Love, they certainly have every right to do so.
As is generally the case in such occasions, the reaction Kevin Love receives from the fans should be interesting. One would have to believe they will choose to acknowledge Love existence as a member of the Timberwolves, unlike the team.
