Tristan Thompson takes Larry O’Brien Trophy up CN Tower
The Larry O’Brien Trophy is soaring to new heights…literally.
Cleveland Cavaliers big man Tristan Thompson, a native of Toronto, used his time with the NBA championship trophy wisely, bringing it up the CN Tower, one of the tallest structures in the world, and documenting the moment on his Twitter account for all to see.

The 25-year-old Thompson also gets double bonus points for quoting a line from “Charged Up,” by Toronto demigod Drake, a song that shouts out fellow NBA countryman Cory Joseph of the Toronto Raptors, also an NBA champion from his time with the San Antonio Spurs, to boot.
Not to mention that this sure beats the trophy being in bed with Joe Lacob or in the urinal with Mark Cuban.
