Twitter critics crush struggling Jordan Clarkson

Jordan Clarkson

Jordan Clarkson continued to struggle in the postseason during Game 2 of the NBA Finals, and the Twitter critics were all over him.

The Cleveland Cavaliers guard came in for four minutes early in the second quarter. He missed a jumper, made a layup, and then got his shot blocked by David West before being replaced.

In Game 1, Clarkson wasn’t much better as he shot just 2-for-9 against the Golden State Warriors. He’s shooting just 30.3 percent in the postseason.

Folks were mocking Clarkson and the Cavaliers’ insistence upon using him despite his struggles. Here’s a sample of some of the tweets.

The Lakers GOT a first in the Clarkson trade.

If Jordan Clarkson pretended he wasn't supposed to play offense he might be OK

— Kenny Ducey (@KennyDucey) June 4, 2018

I like Ty Lue, and think he's an underrated coach, but his insistence on playing Clarkson is just indefensible. He's simply horrible.

I think even Cedi would be better at this point. Clarkson looking like Deron Williams from last year

— Robert Littal (@BSO) June 4, 2018

Jordan Clarkson might be the only guy in the league who doesn't care that he shares the floor with LeBron James. Treats every possession like, "Imma let you finish. You might be the greatest of all time, but it's my time to shine."

Jordan Clarkson’s first postseason

It’s been a huge drop-off for Clarkson, who averaged 12.6 points on 45.6 percent shooting with the Cavs during the regular season.
