UCLA’s Aaron Holiday declares for NBA Draft
UCLA Bruins guard Aaron Holiday announced on Monday that he will leave school to enter the NBA Draft.
Holiday, who just completed his junior season with the Bruins, shared the following note on Twitter in which he thanked many for helping and supporting him.
After much thought and consideration, my family and I feel it is in my best interest to declare for the 2018 NBA draft. I want to thank God for giving me the ability to play this sport. I also want to thank my family, my coaches , UCLA, and the fans for always supporting me.

CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein also says Holiday will sign with an agent, which will prevent him from returning to school.
Holiday averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game this season, while shooting 46.1 percent from the field. He shot over 40 percent on three-pointers each season of his college career.
Though Holiday choked down the stretch in UCLA’s season-ending loss to St. Bonaventure during a play-in NCAA Tournament game, he surely opened plenty of eyes through his play all season.
Holiday is looking to join brothers Jrue and Justin in the NBA.
