Sunday was just another day for Jalen Suggs, but he made it one to remember for a couple of Orlando Magic fans.
Before the Magic faced the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center in Miami, Fla., Suggs had already made his best assist of the night by helping a couple reveal the gender of their baby.
After Suggs opened the box and revealed that the pair is having a baby girl, the couple jumped up and down out of pure excitement and shared a tight embrace, as the former Gonzaga Bulldog star smiled in the background. Suggs also got a hug from the man, who will have quite a story to tell his kid one day.
Here’s a video of that great moment.

That great deed by Suggs earned him and the Magic some good basketball karma, as Orlando defeated the Heat, 121-117.
With that victory, the Magic extended their winning streak to seven games and improved their record to 38-28.
Moreover, that punctuated Orlando’s utter dominance of the Heat in the 2025-26 NBA regular season, as the Magic swept Miami, 5-0.
The 24-year-old Suggs finished the game with 14 points on 6/17 shooting with 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 1 steal in 34 minutes.
