Walt Frazier marches to the beat of his own drum, and that has never been more apparent than it was at this year’s NBA All-Star Game.
At halftime of the contest, the league hosted a grand ceremony to honor the 75 players who were selected as the greatest of all-time for the NBA’s 75th anniversary. Nearly every single honoree wore the dark blue jacket designed by the league specifically for the event … except for Frazier.
Though he did not attend the ceremony in Cleveland, Frazier appeared via prerecorded video. As he waved to the crowd, it became apparent that he had chosen to wear one of his own colorful jackets instead.

For reference, here are the jackets that everybody else was wearing.
Frazier going with his own style led to some funny memes on Twitter.
Of course, Frazier has been a fashion icon since his playing days five decades ago. He is also known for the stylish fits that he wears to New York Knicks games as their color commentator. The jacket Frazier wore for Sunday’s ceremony was actually pretty tame compared to others he has worn in the past.
