First LeBron James and Dwyane Wade teamed up to win championships on the Miami Heat, and now their sons will be teaming up.
News was reported by the LA Times on Wednesday that James’ sons, Bronny and Bryce, would be switching schools from Crossroads in Santa Monica to Sierra Canyon in Chatsworth. That apparently was only half the story. The other half was reported by LA Daily News high school reporter Tarek Fattal, who says Zaire Wade will be joining the school too.
Bronny James to Sierra Canyon has been a “done deal” for at least six weeks. The other “done deal” is that Zaire Wade, Dywane Wade’s son, who will be a senior next year will join Bronny this coming season at Sierra Canyon.

Bronny James will be a freshman in the fall, while Zaire Wade will be a senior.
Zaire was a junior at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida this year.
Sierra Canyon already won the CIF championship in California’s highest high school athletic division this year and was ranked No. 1 in the country by Maxpreps. The squad featured Duke signee Cassius Stanley and the sons of Scottie Pippen and Kenyon Martin. The team’s legacy of having the sons of famous basketball players will continue on with Bronny and Zaire.
Even though he will only be a freshman, expectations are high for Bronny, who has been described by an NBA All-Star as a “special” player.
