Andre McGee lawyer Scott Cox calls accuser a ‘whore’
Scott Cox, the attorney representing Andre McGee against the allegations he is facing, has lashed out at the woman behind the incriminating book.
Cox responded to the allegations against McGee, which went public Friday, by calling the woman behind them a “whore” who is only “interested in making money.”

A new book written by self-described madam Katina Powell became public Friday after a P.R. blitz. In the book, Powell says she arranged to have escorts, including three of her daughters, dance for recruits and players from the Louisville Cardinals program. McGee, who was a graduate assistant and later director of basketball operations for the Cardinals, is accused of being the point man for arranging the sex/dancing.
Powell may be a whore in the truest sense of the word, but that does not mean she is telling lies. That should be of greater concern for Louisville and McGee.
