The layup broke a 58-58 tie and put Kansas State up 60-58. After Kentucky missed a three-pointer, Kansas State went 1-for-2 on free throws to take a 3-point lead. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed a 3-point on Kentucky’s last possession, giving Kansas State the 61-58 win.
Brown only made 4 of 15 shots in the game, but that was a big one.
