Bruce Pearl makes questionable decision to not use timeout
Auburn had an outstanding chance to defeat Kentucky with a buzzer-beater against Kentucky at the end of regulation on Sunday, but they settled for a bad shot after head coach Bruce Pearl made a questionable decision to not use his final timeout.
Auburn got the ball back with about 13 seconds remaining after playing tremendous defense in a 60-60 game. They had a timeout left and could have used it past half court with about 10 seconds left, but Pearl chose to let his guys play it out. His faith in them was not rewarded.

The Tigers looked a bit frantic on the possession, and forward Horace Spencer tried to play hero with a contested 3-pointer when one more pass would have left Jared Harper with a wide-open look in the corner. It will be hard for Pearl to justify not using the timeout in that situation.
