Coach K will not cave to those calling for Allen suspension
If you were expecting Coach K to cave to public pressure and suspend Grayson Allen for his latest trip of an opponent, then you don’t know the Duke coach.
Mike Krzyzewski said after Wednesday’s win over Elon that he will handle Allen’s actions in a way he feels is proper rather than bend towards what others deem is necessary.

Although he threw a tantrum on the bench after being hit with a technical foul for the trip, Allen was remorseful after the game and apologized.
Grayson Allen crying, head down in corner of the locker room. Very upset. Repeatedly says he's ashamed. Calls the trip "a selfish play."

Coach K did say to the media that Allen’s actions were “unacceptable,” but it sounds like he’s not going to overreact, despite Allen’s history of trips.
So those calling for a suspension — including former Duke star Jay Williams — will probably be left disappointed unless the ACC steps in.
