Grayson Allen is trying to make the most of his final games at Duke.
Allen’s Blue Devils beat Notre Dame in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament on Thursday and have now advanced to the semis. Allen scored 23 points in the game on 7-for-10 shooting, opening up his conference tournament with a strong performance.
After the game, Allen shared with ESPN’s Allison Williams what his message is to his younger teammates now that March Madness has begun.
“I just tried to tell them the importance of going all-out. We’re at the point in the season where you win or go home. We can’t have a game where we don’t show up. We just can’t have that or else we’re going back to Durham. None of these guys want that. I think they know it. I told them we only have two guaranteed games left, so now we got another one. Hopefully we can stay here and win two more,” Allen said.
Allen is the only senior on the Duke roster. He began his college career by winning the national championship and would love to end it in the same way.
