The Iowa State Cyclones and Connecticut Huskies met in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Friday evening with a spot in the Elite 8 on the line.
The game featured All-Big-12 First Team members DeAndre Kane and Melvin Ejim, the conference’s Player of the Year. American Athletic Conference Player of the Year Shabazz Napier was also present.
But, it was Iowa State’s Dustin Hogue who grabbed attention early on.
When the New York native took the floor at Madison Square Garden, he did so with the above pictured design in the back of his head. Last name, check. Uniform number inside basketball, check.
Hogue finished as the game’s top scorer with 34 points. Look good, play good, as they say.
