Jacob Toppin, a 6-foot-7 forward, averaged 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds as a freshman at Rhode Island last season. He would have to sit out a season before being able to play for the Wildcats.
His brother Obi was named the National Player of the Year for Dayton. This is an addition for Kentucky, which comes after they recently lost a transfer.
