Reporter’s ‘Guster is for Lovers’ sticker goes viral at Final Four
Mike Krzyzewski got plenty of camera time during Duke’s Final Four game against North Carolina on Saturday. And that meant the “Guster is for Lovers” sticker one reporter had on his laptop also got plenty of camera time.
CBS Sports college basketball reporter Matt Norlander had excellent seats for the big Final Four game. He was seated in the front row to cover the game, just behind Duke’s bench. He had his laptop out because he was working, and he happened to be positioned right behind Coach K.
So whenever Coach K was shown on TV, Norlander’s laptop was in the background. And people were fascinated by Norlander’s “Guster is for Lovers” sticker on the computer.
Take a look at how captured everyone was by the sticker:

I will pay a reporter to ask Coach K after this game if Guster is, in fact, for lovers.

These refs love Coach K almost as much as this dude loves Guster pic.twitter.com/tzkKYZTrSA

So what is the deal? Guster is a rock band from Boston, and Norlander is a fan of them. His sticker has been in use — and visible at previous Final Fours — since at least 2016:
looks like @MattNorlander has been rocking the Guster sticker to Final Fours since at least 2016. Appears to have been transferred to a new laptop at some point https://t.co/IO29dJ3ake

After generating so much attention for his sticker, Norlander threatened to remove it.
Folks: I’m a reasonable man, and I’m afraid Coach K’s seat of choice has caused a bit of a distraction on the broadcast. The Guster sticker is coming off at this next TV timeout.

However, Norlander changed his mind and left it on after Coach K moved spots.
In-game adjustment. Got a TV monitor blocking it. THE STICKER STAYS ON. (But is now out of view.)

Guster indeed is for lovers.
