North Carolina coach Roy Williams was in a sentimental mood after his team beat Syracuse to advance to the title game.
Williams nodded to Stuart Scott and Dean Smith, two departed UNC icons, during the postgame.

Recall that the Tar Heels paid tribute to Scott after his passing in 2015, and did the same for Smith a short time later. 2015 was a difficult year for the Tar Heels, and it’s a shame that they’re not around to enjoy the success of the 2016 team.
