Sometimes, even the folks who run social media accounts are left speechless. That certainly happened to the people behind the Saint Peter’s basketball account on Friday.
The Peacocks stunned Purdue with a 67-64 win, making them the first 15 seed in NCAA history to reach the Elite Eight. As the school’s players, coaches, and fans celebrated, the Saint Peter’s account sent a simple message that more or less conveyed everything.

Sometimes there’s nothing else to say — or do — but laugh. This was certainly one of those scenarios. Even the most optimistic people associated with the school could not have seen this coming.
The Peacocks’ social media folks have some work to do if they want to stack up with another Cinderella’s use of Twitter. Amazingly, they will have at least one more game to do it.
