Shareef O’Neal reportedly leaning towards UCLA

Shareef O’Neal, the son of former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, is leaning towards signing with UCLA after deciding against Arizona, according to a report.

Shareef, a 6-foot-10 senior at Crossroads High School in Los Angeles, was previously committed to Arizona. But he announced on Saturday that he was de-committing from the school and reopening his recruitment after the Sean Miller scandal.

Now TMZ Sports reports that O’Neal has been considering new schools, most of which are in the Pac-12. They say UCLA is currently in the lead for him.

247 Sports has O’Neal rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 4 player in California. In their projections, they have UCLA and Kentucky in the lead for him.
