Kansas star Udoka Azubuike has serious injury scare
The Kansas Jayhawks briefly lost a star player to injury less than a month from the start of March Madness.
Star center Udoka Azubuike limped to the locker room during Saturday’s rivalry game against Kansas State with an apparent ankle injury.

Azubuike appeared to land on Kansas State’s Xavier Sneed’s foot, causing the Kansas center to twist his ankle.

Azubuike was treated and returned to the game later in the half.
Azubuike came into Saturday’s game averaging 13.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game on the season. He’s been a huge part of Kansas’ rise to the top of the polls, and they couldn’t afford to be without him for too long.
