Watch: Virginia sends game to OT with improbable buzzer-beater
You could not ask for more from the Elite Eight game between Virginia and Purdue on Saturday night.
Carsen Edwards put on an absolute show to help the Boilermakers take a lead late in the game. Purdue was up 70-67 with under 17 seconds to go before fouling Virginia. They made one and missed the second, which is when madness ensued.
Mamadi Diakite tapped out the rebound, which was chased down by Kihei Clark, who passed ahead to Diakite for the buzzer-beater to tie the game:

The awareness, composure, and clutch ability from Diakite and Clark was impressive. The best part is the shot gave fans overtime and a chance to enjoy a great game for another five minutes.
