Arkansas offers scholarship to son of coach Chad Morris
The University of Arkansas football team’s latest scholarship offer went to a familiar face.
Chandler Morris announced on Friday that he had received a scholarship offer from his father’s program:

Morris’ dad Chad was announced as Arkansas’ new head coach in December. He previously spent three seasons as SMU’s head coach.
Chandler Morris just completed his sophomore year at Highland Park High School in Dallas where he backed up John Stephen Jones — Jerry Jones’ grandson — at quarterback. Highland Park was among the best programs in Texas last year.
Even though Morris is just entering his junior season, he is landing some big scholarship offers. Earlier this month, he received an offer from Clemson:

Chad Morris previously worked on Dabo Swinney’s staff at Clemson from 2011-2014, so the Tigers had familiarity with Chandler. Still, these are some impressive offers for a quarterback who doesn’t graduate for two years.
