BYU is bringing back a program legend to help coach the team.
According to KSL, BYU plans to hire Ty Detmer as offensive coordinator.
Detmer, who won the Heisman Trophy in 1990, will join the staff of new head coach Kalani Sitake and also help with coaching quarterbacks, the report says.

Detmer, 48, has been coaching high school football in Texas the past five seasons. St. Andrews Episcopal School in Austin was winless in 2009 and 2010, but they showed improvement after Detmer took over. He led them to 3-7, 3-6 and 3-5 seasons before finally getting over the hump in 2014 with a 5-3 showing and then a 8-1 record this season.
Detmer was a 9th-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in 1992 and played 14 seasons in the NFL. A College Football Hall of Famer, Detmer is the career record holder at BYU for passing attempts and completions.
