The 6-foot-2 quarterback plans to graduate from Clemson in May and would have two years of eligibility to play for the Blue Devils.
A transfer made plenty of sense for Brice. He has been backing up Trevor Lawrence at Clemson but will now have an opportunity to start for another program.
“My time at Clemson was special,” Brice told The State. “The fans were special. The atmosphere, the family feel … just everything about Clemson. It’s a special place. It’ll always have a special place in my heart. It’s always going to be home. Just very appreciative of the fans, my coaching staff that pushed me to get better.”
Brice was 82/136 for 1,023 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions in two seasons at Clemson.
