Clemson will enter the weekend as a huge favorite against a South Carolina team it should handle with ease, but Dabo Swinney is not about to rest starters against his biggest rival.
When asked by a reporter on Sunday if he will consider sitting players against the 24-point underdog Gamecocks, Swinney had a great response.

First of all, resting starters against an in-state rival would not be well-received. But more importantly, the Tigers are in no position to take their foot off the gas. They control their own destiny en route to a playoff appearance, so taking care of business is the top priority.
Sure, Clemson may have shown mercy to another in-state school earlier in the season, but don’t expect the same on Saturday.
