Ole Miss senior linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche is in the ICU at a hospital in Oxford, Miss. and has been there since Monday, according to a report.
Rivals’ RebelGrove.com reports the news on Nkemdiche and says the reason for the hospitalization is unclear. The good news is Nkemdiche is at least conscious.
Nkemdiche, who is the team’s leading tackler, missed a meeting on Sunday as the team got ready to begin preparations for LSU this weekend. He was found Monday and taken to the hospital.
Rebels head coach Hugh Freeze said Wednesday that Nkemdiche is questionable for the game because of personal matters.
