Report: Ezekiel Elliott cited for driving with suspended license after crash

Ezekiel Elliott crop top

Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott was reportedly cited for driving with a suspended license over the weekend after he was involved in a car accident.

The Columbus Police Department told TMZ that Elliot lost control of his vehicle at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday and hit another car. The junior told police he hydroplaned after hitting a puddle. The driver of the other car reportedly sustained minor injuries and was not hospitalized.

In addition to being cited for driving with a suspended license, Elliott was hit with failure to control and driving without an operator’s license.

Craig Calcaterra of NBCSports.com was the first to report that Elliott had been in an accident, and he noted that Elliott’s social media activity indicates he has made the trip to Phoenix with the Buckeyes for Friday’s game against Notre Dame.

It’s unclear if Elliott will face discipline from the school or if he will be allowed to play in the Fiesta Bowl. If you remember, Elliott also made headlines for the wrong reason last month when he made some questionable comments after Ohio State’s only loss.
