Was Indiana robbed at the end of the New Era Pinstripe Bowl against Duke on Saturday? Many people think so.
IU and Duke went to overtime tied at 41 in the game at Yankee Stadium. Duke got the ball first and kicked a field goal to take a 44-41 lead. When IU got the ball, they ended up trying a field goal to tie the game. The kick from Griffin Oakes went above the upright and was ruled no good:
Was Indiana's FG try good? Hard to tell, went over the upright and is not reviewable pic.twitter.com/UDgJuayxhN

Duke was awarded a 44-41 overtime win on the missed field goal, giving them their first bowl game victory since 1961.
But should that kick have counted or not? That is the question.
The replay from the view below the upright seemed to show the kick was on the inside of the goal post, however, the replay may have been from an odd camera angle:

I thought the kick would have deflected off the upright and not gone in, but it’s really a hard thing to say. The kick is not something that is reviewable, so Duke goes home a winner.
