Indiana coach Tom Allen cashes in on big bonuses after Nebraska win
Indiana beat Nebraska on the road 38-31 on Saturday, and Hoosiers head coach Tom Allen picked up some big money with the win.
Allen got $100,000 for winning his sixth game of the season, which makes IU bowl-eligible for the first time since 2016. Other coaches on Allen’s staff also got bonuses for the win, which put the total bonus pool paid out by Indiana for the win at over $300,000, according to the Indy Star.

The bonuses don’t stop there for Allen. He will get an additional $100,000 for every win after this one.
The Hoosiers still have four games left on their regular season schedule. Matchups against Michigan and at Penn State may be tough, but they also face Northwestern and Purdue, who have both struggled this year. If they go 2-2 moving forward, Allen would be up to $300,000 in bonuses for the year.
Maybe that’s why Allen was so emotional after the game.
